The Cowboy Carter Tour 2025 is sure to be a huge event.
Beyoncé has officially confirmed that she’s hitting the road for her Cowboy Carter Tour 2025 following the release of her country-themed album. The announcement dropped on Sunday, Feb. 2, with a dramatic video shared on Instagram. In the clip, a sign lighting up the desert night sky flashes the words COWBOY CARTER TOUR in bold block letters, accompanied by the sound of an electrical hum and wind blowing in the background.
Beyoncé followed up with a second post showing a close-up photo of her in bleached eyebrows and white-blonde braids, sporting a bold red lip against a dark backdrop—echoing the visuals from her Cowboy Carter album. The caption simply read, “COWBOY CARTER TOUR 2025,” and she updated her Instagram profile picture to match the image from the promo.
This comes after her highly anticipated Christmas Day halftime performance, where she performed tracks from Cowboy Carter for the first time since its release in March 2024. The performance marked a homecoming for the Houston native and set the stage for speculation that a new album or tour announcement was on the way. In a teaser video posted after the show, Beyoncé dropped a cryptic 15-second clip with the date 1.14.25 and the caption “Look at that horse,” referencing her song “Sweet Honey Buckiin’.”
However, Beyoncé postponed sharing further details on the tour out of respect for the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, which began on Jan. 7 and impacted countless lives. She expressed her prayers for those affected and shared a heartfelt message of support for first responders. Additionally, Beyoncé donated $2.5 million to L.A. relief efforts through her BeyGood Foundation.
During her Christmas performance, Beyoncé treated fans to live renditions of “Texas Hold ‘Em,” “16 Carriages,” as well as covers of “Jolene” and “Blackbird.” She was joined on stage by Shaboozey for “Sweet Honey Buckiin’” and Post Malone for “Levii’s Jeans.”
Looking ahead, Beyoncé will be at the 2025 Grammy Awards, where she leads the nominations with 11 nods, including record of the year, song of the year, and best country solo performance. With 32 Grammy wins to her name, she’s the most awarded artist in the award show’s history—though she has yet to snag the coveted Album of the Year. Could Cowboy Carter finally take home the trophy this year? Fans are eagerly waiting to find out.
