Apple Intelligence is now enabled by default on your device.
Apple’s recent operating system update brought a significant change to Apple Intelligence: it’s now activated by default.
Previously, iPhone, iPad, and Mac users had to manually opt in to use Apple Intelligence features. However, with the 18.3 update, the feature is now automatically enabled for new users and those updating their devices who may not have chosen to activate it before.
The initial rollout of Apple Intelligence features began in October, introducing Apple’s generative models and enhancements to existing software. Additional features were launched in December, expanding the capabilities across devices.
If you want to turn off Apple Intelligence, here’s how:
- Go to “Settings” on your device.
- Tap “Apple Intelligence & Siri.”
- Toggle off the switch next to “Apple Intelligence.”
